We are passionate about creating high quality wines that surpass expectations with taste, enjoyment and value.  Our premium grapes are sourced from the world famous Marlborough wine growing region in New Zealand’s South Island, and the Hawke’s Bay region in the North Island, the oldest (and second largest) wine growing region in New Zealand.  All our wines and vineyards are certified as 100% sustainable by Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand.

Fern Ridge 2016 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Succulent, juicy and fresh, elegantly packed with ripe grapefruit and passionfruit flavours carrying through to a long mineral finish.

Enjoy this wine as an apertif, and serve with chicken (lemon chicken), Pacific Rim fare (spicy fish tacos), or seafood (try green lipped mussels steamed in Sauvignon Blanc and serve with coconut milk, lemon grass and chili broth).  Serve slightly chilled to experience maximum flavour.

Fern Ridge 2016 Hawke’s Bay Pinot Gris

Inviting pear and lychee notes with a touch of spice make for an appealing nose.

This wine tastes delicious as a starter, with seafood (barbecued seared scallops), salad (barbecued nectarine prawn and squid salad), chicken (chili-lime chicken kebabs), and spicy cuisine (chicken tikka masala).  Serve slightly chilled to experience maximum flavour.

Fern Ridge 2016 Marlborough Pinot Noir

Juicy and bright on the palate with a silky friendly mouthfeel finishing long and smooth.

This wine is divine on its own, with poultry (duck confit with chopped juniper berries and garlic), and red meat (barbequed lamb topped with pomegranates).  Serve at room temperature to experience maximum flavour.

The nose is fresh, primary-fruited and uncomplicated with aromas of raspberry fruit, red liquorice and fruit pastille confectionary suggesting whole berry fermentation. Some liquorice and herb nuances emerge with aeration. Medium-bodied, bright, plush, sweet fruit flavours of ripe raspberries and red cherry fruit are the feature on palate. Whole berry fermentation lift and confectionary notes add brightness to the primary fruit expression. The fruit is supported by supple, fine grainy tannin structure with discreet acidity adding to the juiciness and energy. The wine flows to a plush, succulent, aromatic finish. This is an up-front, juicy, primary-fruited Pinot Noir with flavours of ripe raspberries and a supple mouthfeel.”
